Sun in the Wood Improvers Days - The Next Step
IMPROVERS WATERCOLOUR will cover the confusing subjects of colour mixing and simple perspective.
There will be demonstrations all day giving examples of trees, flowers, buildings and many ways of producing skies.
Helpful advice is given on painting outside and also showing how to achieve some special effects.
IMPROVERS CALLIGRAPHY will include the history of manuscript, cutting your own quill to use in the studio plus practising various scripts and coloured versals (decorated capitals) on parchment type paper.
You will also be shown how to design your own calligraphy projects with your own decorated borders.
