Absolute Beginners Watercolour
This is an opportunity for beginners to try the fun of watercolour painting in friendly, relaxing surroundings.
Come along and be shown how - start by watching step by step demonstrations as you splash the paint on yourself!
In the morning we start with a small flower painting, try different papers, pencils and pens plus basic colour mixing and application. A simple, large-sized landscape picture using bigger brushes (and more paint!) is the afternoon project. Every stage of the work is shown as we go along.
We provide all the materials, lunch and drinks to keep you painting all day. There is absolutely nothing to bring with you.
Ann Thompson
Ann has painted all her life and thoroughly enjoys teaching both adults and youngsters. She fully understands the problems and anxieties faced by beginners.
Ann has had numerous commissions and exhibitions and annually exhibits with Jacky in the Sun in the Wood studio.
Our day classes include:
- Light Lunch

- Your finished project mounted and framed

There are many calligraphy and watercolour painting books to refer to in the studio plus a gallery of framed, finished work.
